I work as an independent Growth Specialist, helping ECI’s management teams get value from the data assets in their organisations – this could involve the use of data to make better decisions, all the way through to the cutting edge of AI. I’ve had a 30-year career in Data Science and AI, starting in academia before taking leadership roles in companies such as WPP, dunnhumby and Aviva.

I also had the great privilege of becoming the first Chief Data Officer for the LEGO Group, helping one of the world’s best loved brands deploy data science and AI across its whole operation. There’s a lot of hype and confusion around the field of AI, so I’m here to help demystify the area and find practical ways to turn it into commercial value.
