Investment Director

I joined ECI’s Investment Team in 2018, having spent several years at KPMG corporate finance, including selling a business for ECI before I joined!

As part of the Investment Team my role is to find and invest in high quality, growing businesses and the talented management teams that lead them. I work closely with our management teams, supporting them throughout the investment cycle, from first coffee all the way through to exit.

Since joining ECI, I’ve worked with a number of exciting businesses including Arkessa, Auction Technology Group, Avantia, BCN Group, Moneypenny and Tusker. My experience covers a range of sectors, although most of my time has been spent in the technology sector and I have a special interest in software into CFOs and digital marketplaces.

I also sit on our ESG Committee, focusing on the continued development of our Inclusion and Diversity strategy.

“The people and the culture. When I was at KPMG, I sold a business for ECI and found the team to be low ego, straight forward and collaborative. That was a key factor in my joining and my experience since I started has matched that.”

02 WHAT IS THE BEST MEAL YOU'VE EVER EATEN?

“The pandemic meant I hadn’t been back to Bahrain, where I grew up, for over two years. The first plate of Arabic food sat back at my parents’ table was the best meal I’ve ever eaten.”
