Non-Executive Chair

I joined ECI in 1998 having spent my early career in consulting with Gemini and Bain and Company, following a degree in Economics from Cambridge University. Between my consulting jobs I spent a thoroughly enjoyable 2 years completing an MBA from Harvard Business School. During my time at ECI I have had the privilege of working with many talented management teams across exciting growth businesses, including CSL, Arkessa, Mobysoft, Content + Cloud, Tusker, MThree, Wireless Logic, XLN, Clinisys, Harmoni, Bounty, ClarityBlue, Language Line, MM Group and WCI.

After 26 years at ECI, I moved to non-executive Chair in September 2024.

01 WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST EVER JOB?

“As soon as I was old enough to wheel a wheelbarrow, I spent many of my school holidays and sometimes weekends working as a builder’s labourer. I loved the physical exercise and working outdoors.”

02 WHAT HOBBY HAVE YOU INVESTED THE MOST TIME IN?

“I was reasonably late starter to skiing, having not really taken it up in earnest until my 20s. Once I had caught the bug, it was always and still is the holiday I look forward to the most. I now have my son and daughter to compete with to make sure my ability doesn’t fade. Steeper descents and deeper powder – that catches them out! ”
