Marijn Pangemanan
Investment Director
As a member of the investment team, I meet, work with, and invest behind ambitious business leaders building high-quality businesses. From discussing large, strategic questions, to helping with small but important challenges – we work together from start to finish, and hopefully have some fun along the way.
I joined ECI in 2026, having previously invested in services businesses throughout Europe. Prior to ECI, I was a member of the investment team at private equity firms KLAR Partners and CD&R, and I began my career at investment bank Credit Suisse in London. I grew up in both the Netherlands and Norway, and studied at ESADE Business School in Spain.
During high school I worked weekends at our local McDonald’s, a great place to learn about teamwork and the importance of strong systems and processes in a successful business.
The national parks in Canada and the US offer seemingly endless hiking trails with stunning scenery. Glacier National Park is particularly memorable: while admiring the views over Mt Grinnell, a friendly grizzly bear wandered past us on the trail – slightly closer to nature than we had planned.
I hold a private pilot license for small airplanes. Whilst the British weather doesn’t always cooperate, I try to fly whenever I can.
