I started working in private equity over 20 years ago. At the time, I had just joined Lehman Brothers and was assigned to their in-house mid-market private equity fund, with little idea of what private equity actually was. It turned out to be a stroke of luck – I loved the job from day one.
The first transaction I worked on was the carve-out of Heinz’s canned seafood business, which I still remember fondly every time I see a can of John West tuna in my local shop.
I joined Bain Capital in 2007 and, over the following 18 years, had the opportunity to execute and lead transactions across a broad range of sectors and geographies. My investment experience has focused on business services and industrials, with investments including IMCD and Parts Holding Europe in B2B distribution, as well as GRI in HR Tech.
I am thrilled to have joined the ECI Partnership in 2026 and look forward to working alongside management teams to support the growth of their businesses.
I spent a summer selling encyclopedias door to door in Salem, Oregon my first year in college with a buddy of mine. We had a lot of fun, made a bit of money, had a few adventures and learned some immensely valuable lessons.
Hands down, the Chamonix Valley in France for its mountains and all the memories we have of skiing, climbing, touring and trekking there with family and friends over the years. If you ever pass there, don’t hesitate to reach out for recommendations!
Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. We’ve recently watched it with our kids, and it immediately became a family classic.
