ECI portfolio companies Avantia and Clear have both been recognised as leaders in their fields at this year’s insurance sector awards.
Avantia, whose machine learning platform rapidly adapts to new data sources enabling risk and retail price optimisation across the UK’s broadest home insurance footprint, won Technology Innovation of the Year at the Insurance Times Tech and Innovation Awards. The judges were, “extremely impressed by how the winner’s smart pricing platform enabled it to increase retail pricing, while growing volumes and reducing the loss ratio.”
Clear has also picked up awards at this year’s Insurance Age UK Broker Awards, the leading platform for national recognition within the insurance broker market. The business collected the awards for Insurance Broker of the Year and Commercial Lines Broker of the Year. Clear recently acquired Morrison Insurance Solutions, who themselves were highly commended in the Schemes Broker of the Year category, capping a great night for the group.
Both companies are finalists in the upcoming Insurance Times Awards. Avantia in the Excellence in Tech and the Insurer Innovation categories, and Clear in the Commercial Lines Broker of the Year and the Independent Broker of the Year categories.
