ECI portfolio company The Travel Chapter has acquired Cottages and Castles. This is the third acquisition the business has made since partnering with ECI, following Gorgeous Cottages and Dorset Coastal Cottages.

Established over 30 years ago, Cottages and Castles boasts a collection of over 600 Scottish properties and has a reputation as one of Scotland’s leading self-catering cottage agencies. The Cottages and Castles brand will now become The Travel Chapter’s primary Scottish brand, promoting the entire collection of Scottish properties that it lists.

Owners of Cottages and Castles properties will benefit from increased marketing reach by appearing across The Travel Chapter’s portfolio of brands, including its flagship brand holidaycottages.co.uk.

Richard Wild, Commercial Director at The Travel Chapter, said:

We’re excited to announce that this popular Scottish agency has joined our family of brands and we are proud to showcase this great selection of properties in some of the country’s most beautiful and unexplored locations.

We can’t wait to expand on the great work already completed by the Cottages & Castles team. We plan on growing our presence in Scotland further so more and more of our customers can discover this fantastic country and our owners can continue to generate a great return from their properties.
